My wife and I were really unsure if we wanted to take on the task of selling our townhome by owner. What we found on DSM-FSBO.com was a website that was very user friendly with all the resources you need to sell your house. As an example, it took us about 20 minutes to get our house information on the website by using the easy to use templates to input our house information. The service that we were really happy with was the photographer that comes and takes the pictures for the website - unbelieveable quality!!! For the money that we paid for the listing fee, attorney fee, and printing fliers (less than $500) we were able to sell our townhome in 2 1/2 weeks and not pay an agent commission on the buyers side.

One last thing, we had inquires from California (job relocation to Des Moines) and if it wasn't for DSM-FSBO.com we would never have had that kind of exposure.

We had a good experience with DSM-FSBO! Our town house sold in about two months after listing. They were always prompt in making the changes we requested and in advertising the Open Houses. The signs they provided were good and very visible. We got a lot of information and help from the For Sale by Owner book that they provided as well.

We also felt that the attorney they recommended did a great job for us. He was very familiar with the company as he has helped close on quite a few of their listings.

The commission saved was a great help as we were in a buyers market!

We really enjoyed using the DSM-FSBO.com website to list our home for sale! The initial posting process was extremely easy. Selling our house using an online "For Sale by Owner" website was inexpensive, quick and painless. We were able to display as much detail as we wanted regarding the various features of our home on the website (as well as several high-quality pictures) for a very reasonable cost. The process of filling out the information and having the pictures taken took about a 1 week, and our house was listed within days after submitting the information. We started to get a few calls, and then decided to hold an Open House on a Sunday. We requested an Open House notification be put on the website and it was done almost immediately. We had several interested buyers come to both of the two Open Houses we held. Each time, the prospective buyers came with a good idea of what they were going to be looking at and what questions they might have.
